Watch Out World!

Shiloh was so relieved to pass stage one  - she now has her learner's license 😁

This page was made with The Paper Teapot April Scrapbook kit - available here, all I added was an emoji charm, and a wooden arrow.

I love this technique using embossing powder on texture paste - it all puffs up and gives it even more texture! 😁

A Ferry Nice trip to Devonport

For my birthday this year we went to Auckland for the weekend, and met up with Steve and Kate for lunch at the viaduct. We then decided to take the ferry over to Devonport and have a quick stop at the chocolate shop - Yum 🍫

This is for the April Scrap Our Stash Sketch+ challenge, here's the sketch

and for the stash items I used
F- Flowers, flair, flamingo, frame
L - Lindy's embossing powder, Letter stickers
O - Ombre paper
W - Washi Tape, woodies
E - Ephemera, embossing powder, enamel dots, Endless Summer (paper collecyion)
R - Ranger Distress crayons

I've also used some of my favourite things - Cocoa Vanilla papers (again!) and a Charm Creation arrow that I partially coloured - I wanted to use the music one as that's always one of our topics of conversation when we get together 🎵

Miss Mess

My niece Immy is growing up so fast - last time I saw her she wasn't even crawling, and now she just runs everywhere! She's such a cruisey kid though, nothing fazes her 😊

This page was made for the Scrap Our Stash April Tic Tac Toe challenge,
I used the middle horizontal line - Stitching/flowers/ephemera - not much of a challenge as I use those on most of my pages anyway lol

Happy Scrappin'!

Sharon Newport classes

Last weekend I went to a couple of classes with Sharon, run in conjunction with a crop day for The Paper Teapot. This was the result....

This one featured Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals, which I hadn't used before - always good to try new things!

And this one featured lots of Prima goodies including the paper range Wild & Free.

Not my usual style, but I still love them!

Shiloh

For some time I had been meaning to do a page about the meaning of  Shiloh's name, so when it was my turn to choose a challenge for The Paper Teapot, that's what I did, but with a twist.
Shiloh means peaceful, and as a baby she certainly was, maybe not so much now depending on which friends she's with!
Your page also has to include something beginning with each of the letters N-A-M-E, and I used
N - Negative Space
A - Acetate
M - Mesh
E - Ephemera
I used Bella Blvd's Make Your Mark - I absolutely love the bright colours of these papers 💓

You can get this range from The Paper Teapot here😄
