Colourblast - Chill

Hi everyone,  I'm back with a new layout for you

I was cleaning out the other day and came across my banding wheel from when I taught ceramics,  and thought "I wonder...."

I bluetacked my card to the wheel,  and got out my Colour Artist Inks in Mermaid and Oasis. I mixed them until I had the colour I wanted.

I used a fan brush, and starting at the centre swirled out until I had a rough circle.

I changed to a smaller brush, and painted some rings in Soot.

I knew I wanted some gold highlights,  so I added some glue and gold flakes randomly.

After that I used some Colour Paste in Bling and swirled it on too.

Once that was all dry, I splattered some white and black acrylic paint, concentrating it where my photo cluster was going. I also used the gold Colour Shimmer Brush Marker for spatters.

At this stage I still wasn't happy with it,  so went back the Colour Artist Ink in Marine and painted to the edges. When it was dry I spattered some water over it.

Next I sewed a gold thread circle and border, before I distressed the edges. I added a cut file and my photo cluster.
Here are the some close ups and the layout again for you💙

See you next time!
