Jet Setter

Hello to all my foxy friends, I have a layout to share with you today using some of the wonderful travel themed perspextives ✈

My daughter recently left to study for six months in Denmark - the other side of the world from us waaay down south in New Zealand...but it's so exciting for her, and she's really hoping for a white Xmas 🤞

I snapped this photo just before she left (and before I started the tears!) which will be the first of many she has shared with me.

The Jet Setter title was just perfect - she's doing a bit of sightseeing wile she's away of course!

I'm really going to need to refresh my supply of these cute little globes as well...

I teamed them up with a cut file from Confessions of a Paper Addict and the Out and About collection from Pinkfresh - the colours are perfect together 💚💙

This was a really fun layout to put together, I hope it gives you some inspiration ...see you next time!

Sketchabilities 154: Puss Patch

Time for another Kitty Cat page!

This time it's Patch - beautiful photo courtesy of Shiloh 😃
Here's the sketch
With this patterned paper from Pretty Little Studio's Savannah Dreams the page came together so quickly! I just added a little pink ink from Colour Blast Australia 💗 I just can't get enough of these hearts from Charm Creations either - aren't they pretty? Luckily I still had a perspextive to add to the bottom too.

Sooo pleased with the outcome 😁

CSI: Color Stories Inspiration 262 - Cat's Whiskers

I have conflicting feelings about this furbaby - of course I love her but she drives me to distraction sometimes!!!
She is so contrary, paranoid, evil and smoochy all at the same time! She hates her sister, hisses at her all the time but give her space to herself and she can be so lovable!

I just had to use this for the current CSI challenge...

I used the Happy Cat as a theme, and then used so many of the elements as well - the vibrant pink yellow and green, the black and white stripes, the bee, flowers, a swirl, and a great heart from Charm Creations.

Most of the embellies are from Pretty Little Studio, except for the acrylics which are Bramble Fox.

The leaf and swirl are some VERY old rub ons I found in my stash (Making Memories I think?)  - always good to use something you just rediscover!

Come on over and join in the fun!

Hello Quake Shakes

Just loving that Sketchabilities is back 💖

Here's the July sketch...
And here's my take on it...
I love this Cocoa Vanilla paper, it didn't need much in the way of mixed media, just a few extra spatters to tie it all together. And the cut file couldn't have been more perfect! So going to miss this place, those shakes were the all time best 😞

A Rosie by any other name

This gorgeous little dog can be a bouncy little ball of energy, even though she's no puppy any more, but she does stop still enough occasionally for the odd photo 🐕

I started off trying to keep the inks separate on this page, but when one ended up running into another, I decided well, bugger it, and did it on purpose also. I love how the spatter show on top of each other with the Colourblast inks too 💖

The flower layers are from Pretty Little Studio, I also used a very old Kaisercraft transparency and stamp, and a cute flair from Bramble Fox.

Koala Love

I managed to get in close at Australia Zoo when we were over there earlier in the year - who doesn't love a cute Koala?

I made this DT page for the September sketch at Scrap Our Stash
The word this month was LEARN, and I used
L - Love More collection from Pinkfresh, letter stickers and leaves
E - Embossing Powder
A - Arrow, Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide, acrylic paint
R - Resin word
N - Nuvo Drops
Have a great day!

Every Picture...

So this story was of Breanna and her Book Week costume back in 2010.
I think she made a great Nancy Drew!

This page is for the September Scrap Our Stash Tic Tac Toe challenge

I chose the left hand column - the Fancy Pants paper is from the Joy Parade collection, the arrow clip is from Ikea, and the cork chevrons have been whitewashed to better suit the page.

Thanks for looking!
