Dream Big

Love this girl, love this photoπŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

I made this page for the Scrap the Girls February challenge - here's the sketch

I love the Pretty Little Studio papers vellum and embellies - so fresh feeling. I replaced the hearts with hexes, splashed around a bit of Distress Oxide ink and used a Cocoa Vanilla flower stamp from the More than Words collection 🌸🌸🌸

Happy Moments

Will I ever finish scrapping photos of these two? I hope not, I hope their friendship continues for many years yet πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

This is for the March stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash - to use the movie "Happy Go Lucky" as inspiration, plus an emoji from your stash.

Amy Tan's collections are always so happy so it was a no-brainer to use her phemera for this page.

And look!! No multimedia - no inks, sprays, pastes - nit even a solitary Nuvo drop!! So different from my usual, but a change is as good as a holiday πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Live what you Love

This page is for the great Blend A Sketch challenges over at Scrap Our Stash.

And a new photo even!

Here's the sketch challenge
I used the gorg Colourblast Australia Artist Inks for the vertical elements of the second sketch, and Pretty Little Studio Vellum and ephemera to create the clusters of the first sketch.

I couldn't resist adding a couple of Charm Creation hearts - yum yum yum πŸ’™πŸ’œ

This page is from the new kits from The Paper Teapot, lots of yummy stuff in there!

This is paper from the Pink Paislee Summer Lights part of the kit, with Echo Park stickers (LOTS of them!!), a Pinkfresh dyed tag, Some gorgeous ombre Thickers and Cocoa Vanilla puffy stickers.

Love Out Loud

Wow - I only just took this photo last week and it's scrapped already!!
Mark is just a big kid always hiding and jumping out at us when we are on holiday.

This was at Cafe LÁrte in Taupo - loved all the mosaic furniture πŸ’“

This page is for the SCrap Our Stash February Stash challenge, to use the movie "Love Actually" as the inspiration, include the word "Love" in the title, and use twine.

I  mostly used the October 17 Hip Kit which was full of Pinkfresh Goodness, and Colourblast Australia Artist's Inks and Colour Pastes for the layering.

Thanks for visiting!

Peace Out

I don't think this is the first time I've scrapped this photo, but it just makes me so happy!

This was for a DT assignment for the new challenges...

I found this a bit of a challenge to be honest - but then again, they're supposed to be! I guess it'll get easier the more I do πŸ˜‰
From the first sketch I used the idea of a semi circle (the shape of the flower garland) with the title around it, and from the second sketch I used the larger square (photo) and 3 smaller ones (the banner).
I also used flower rhinestones between the banner flags, and in each corner.

I used a mix of Shimmerz and Prima watercolours for the background, and most of the paper and embellies were from the September 17 Hip Kit. I love those little suede bows and all the Paige Evans paper and ephemera 😍

Winter is Coming

I'm really not a winter fan, except it gives me more time to read some of my favorite books!
Winter is Coming is the motto of House Stark, one of the families on which Game of Thrones is centred, so I documented my love of this series on my page πŸ˜„

This is for the new type Scrap Our Stash challenge, here 'tis...

This new 7dots paper range was perfect for it, I just added a little white paint, Colourblast shimmer and paste (with a Tim Holtz stencil) and a few diecut snowflakes. "winter" was a Lorilei Murphy cut file from  Hip Kit Club. The wolf head was a clip art that I fussy cut.

Thanks for the look!

A Handmade Xmas

Before I started scrapbooking I was a ceramic teacher and product rep for Duncan Enterprises. I loved the opening of the kiln to see what surprises there may be (and the occasional disaster) but I sold the studio when Bre was a baby. I continued making things for sale from home for some time after that though. Mum used to come and look after the girls for me once a week so that I could do it.

Blinkin' earthquakes meant that I don't have very much left of the things I made, but my Xmas things were bubble wrapped so mainly kept okay through the first few, although a couple of chips appeared on the nativity after the December 2011 one. Not too bad though.

This is the last sketch from Scrap our Stash for the year

It's always fun to play along with sketches, and this one is no exception
For the stash I used
P - Pinkfresh, puffy stickers
E - Ephemera
A - Amy Tan bow, Alphas
C - Cut file, chipboard and Colourblast ink
E - Enamel dots

Have a great Xmas, and I'll catch you in the New Year!

December Traditions

We always have a Xmas photo sitting on display right up until it's time for the next one, so here's last years photo now scrapped finally!

It was taken on Shiloh's birthday - so of course her besties are with her, and to be honest it was really the only way we were going to get a Santa photo lol.

This is for the DT Scrap Our Stash December Tic Tac Toe challenge. I was hoping to clear the whole board but it wasn't to be sadly 😞 I will get there one day!
I did end up using 2 lines though the Diagonal from top left and the bottom row. Here they all are...
This is using the new Pinkfresh December Days collection - love the blue! Plus a sequin or 500 lol.
Have a fabulous day!

Happy Dayz

Sometimes (most times) when Shiloh gets together with her friend Taylor, all they can do is giggle πŸ˜‚
Once it starts, they have trouble turning it off again, and this was one of those times.
This was the second time I used this paper, it was also in the May Hip Kit. I also used  the ephemera, wood veneers and letters from this kit, I just added a yellow chevron charm, some Colourblast,  and a cut file from Paper Issues. I entered this into a monthly Colourblast challenge.

Now go finish your Xmas shopping!
