Sketchabilities 153 - Together is the Best

It was Mark's Dad's 91st birthday a couple of months ago, so that meant lunch out and of course a photo with all the grandchildren 📷😉

I used the current Sketchabilities sketch to make this...

I combined the 3 photos into one, but apart from that stayed pretty much true to the sketch - cleaned out pretty much my stash of hearts lol.

Night Noodles

The summer night noodle markets are always a bit of fun to go to, and good friends make it even better. Especially as Shannon's nickname is Noodle 😁

This page is for the May Blend a Sketch challenge over at Scrap Our Stash.

 I used the large circle and title placement from the first sketch, and the quartered background plus the diagonal flow of the stars (but I used hearts) from the second sketch.
I thought I could pretty much use up my entire stash of heart wood veneers but I may have just a *few* left lol.

  I love how it turned out - purple isn't a colour I use that much but I might a bit more often now 💕

I used Sketchabilities #146 for this, changing 2 of the photos over to Pink Paislee quotes.

I used Distress Oxides under my  Just Nick die cut rather than using paper to back it - one of my favourite techniques at the moment 💓

The title and stars Shimelles Glitter Girl and added just enough bling!

One of the Family

I just love using these colours together, and the February Hip Kit provided the perfect papers and embellishments 💖
Distress oxides are amazing and so simple to use, one of my favourite techniques at the moment is to lay a cut file over mixed media blends...

And what a great combo of ephemera, stickers, puffys, and epoxy flowers, hearts, birds, and bugs also!

I love the Pretty Little Studio papers vellum and embellies - so fresh feeling. I replaced the hearts with hexes, splashed around a bit of Distress Oxide ink and used a Cocoa Vanilla flower stamp from the More than Words collection 🌸🌸🌸

 I made this page to teach for The Paper Teapot, using lots of fun techniques, including Distress Oxides, Colourblast colour paste, Scrapiniec embossed, Carabelle stamped stars coloured with Shimmer cubes and heaps more. No one had clean hands when we were finished!!

Margarita-ville

Joanna and I found the yummiest Margaritas at a Mexican restaurant on the South Bank in Brisbane. They had every flavour under the sun, and we "tried" to sample them all, but we would have had to crawl back to the apartment after lol!

I made this DT page for The Paper Teapot monthly challenge, which was to scrap about food or drink. What a hard challenge lol. 

I used Distress Oxides on the background with Colourblast paste, and mostly Bella Blvd paper and embellies. I do love the hex cut filefrom Paper Issues, and of course I had to add a charm emoji 😍

Just Goofing around

Finally getting on to some more of my Disney photos!

This is a DT project for the November Tic Tac Toe challenge at Scrap Our Stash...

I used the left hand column - the plaid is just peeking out 😉 I was trying for a simple vertical layout, but everything kind of exploded lol. I love all the stamping!
